Job Overview

A leading crypto entertainment platform is seeking to collaborate with an experienced Head of VIP to lead and define its global VIP function.

This is a fully remote position open globally.

Within the organisation, VIP operations represent a core commercial driver rather than a traditional support function. The successful candidate will take full ownership of VIP performance, long-term value creation, and strategic positioning across all product verticals.


Role Overview

The Head of VIP will own and define the VIP function end-to-end, with accountability for portfolio performance, proposition development, player lifecycle management, and competitive differentiation. The role requires an always-on, proactive approach focused on anticipating player behaviour, identifying commercial opportunities, and mitigating risk before it materialises.


Key Responsibilities

VIP Portfolio & Commercial Ownership

  • Own the global VIP portfolio with accountability for revenue performance, retention, lifetime value, incentive efficiency, and exposure management.

  • Define and manage VIP portfolio frameworks including segmentation, tiers, benefits, engagement models, and operational limits.

  • Establish real-time monitoring and decision-making processes.

  • Make high-impact commercial decisions relating to incentives, bespoke offers, player treatment, and risk exposure.

  • Provide strategic insights and performance outlooks to senior leadership.

Strategy, Vision & Competitive Positioning

  • Define and continuously evolve the VIP strategy across all platform products.

  • Maintain strong awareness of competitor VIP programmes and evolving high-value player expectations within the crypto casino space.

  • Ensure the VIP proposition remains differentiated, competitive, and culturally relevant.

  • Balance short-term commercial performance with long-term loyalty and sustainability.

Growth, Onboarding & Player Engagement

  • Own VIP onboarding strategy from acquisition through long-term engagement.

  • Collaborate closely with CRM, product, acquisition, partnerships, social, and brand teams to scale the VIP portfolio.

  • Ensure VIP benefits and experiences are clearly communicated across all channels.

  • Oversee VIP community and social presence, including platforms such as X and Discord, as continuous acquisition and engagement channels.

Partnerships & Experience Development

  • Define frameworks to convert partnerships and sponsorships into meaningful VIP value.

  • Approve and prioritise exclusive VIP experiences connected to partners, events, and talent.

  • Ensure partnership assets strengthen loyalty, differentiation, and player status.

Team Leadership & Operating Model

  • Build, lead, and develop the VIP organisation, including portfolio managers and VIP managers.

  • Define roles, KPIs, workflows, and operational standards.

  • Establish a culture focused on ownership, accountability, and commercial performance.

  • Promote proactive engagement and fast decision-making.

Data, Systems & Governance

  • Define VIP KPIs, reporting structures, and decision frameworks.

  • Work closely with data, CRM, and product teams to optimise performance.

  • Implement governance around incentives, exposure, and player management.

  • Continuously improve tools, automation, and operational processes to support scalability.


Requirements

  • Proven experience managing VIP portfolios within crypto casino or crypto iGaming environments (essential).

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in VIP leadership, portfolio management, or high-value customer management within iGaming.

  • Demonstrated commercial ownership of high-value player portfolios.

  • Strong analytical and strategic decision-making capabilities.

  • Experience building and leading teams and establishing operational models.

  • Deep understanding of VIP player behaviour and competitive VIP ecosystems.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, always-on environment.
