Job Overview

The Role:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Business Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of the firm. This fully remote role will be responsible for keeping internal workflows running smoothly across onboarding and offboarding, vendor and IT coordination, hiring support, internship program logistics, event planning, and general administrative operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while handling sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support daily operational tasks across the business to ensure smooth workflows and reliable execution.

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including coordinating logistics, documentation, account access, and key transition timelines.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including communication, follow-ups, and service coordination.

  • Support partners with day-to-day administrative and operational needs, and assist with broader firm initiatives and process improvements, including sales and marketing.

  • Coordinate the firm’s summer internship program, including onboarding, scheduling, project tracking, and overall intern support throughout the program.

  • Coordinate event planning and execution, including internal events and client-facing initiatives.

  • Assist with billing administration and payment processing, including coordinating vendor invoices and tracking incoming payments.

  • Provide general IT support, including troubleshooting basic tech issues and coordinating with outside vendors as needed.

  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks by improving systems, processes, and communication flow.

Requirements:

  • 1–3+ years of experience in operations, administrative support, office coordination, or a similar role.

  • Exceptionally organized with a high level of accuracy and reliability, including the ability to maintain clear trackers, document processes, and consistently follow tasks through to completion.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in both synchronous settings (calls, meetings) and asynchronous channels (Slack, email, documentation).

  • Exercises strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information, including employee matters, internal documentation, and operational workflows.

  • Comfortable juggling ongoing operational responsibilities alongside time-sensitive requests, with the ability to prioritize effectively while ensuring consistent execution.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate needs, identify potential issues early, and take proactive steps to resolve them.

  • Tech-savvy and able to learn tools, systems, and processes quickly, including the ability to support attorneys and legal staff with day-to-day workflows and operational needs.

  • Comfortable operating as a generalist across business functions, with a flexible mindset and a willingness to support wherever needed.
