About the role 

In DFDS we are on a journey to standardise and digitalise our logistics division. Our technical tools are key in increasing our operational efficiency and at the same time allowing us to live up to the high expectations from our internal and external stakeholders. We want to accelerate this journey even further and therefore we need you! 

As our new Digital Transformation Consultant for Team Planning in our Logistics tribe, you will be joining a team of highly motivated colleagues. You will have a wide range of touchpoints throughout the organisation including Product Owners, developers, UX/UI designers, local management, and operational staff. You will play an important role in the supply chain transparency development team and report to the Chapter Lead of Logistics DTC’s. 

In the role as DTC, you are the bridge between our operational staff and our development team. You will assist the Product Owner with designing the optimal solution for a given feature and make sure the functionality is implemented and embedded in operational practices. 

More specifically your main responsibilities include: 

  • Analysing processes across our logistics business. 

  • Analysing and presenting the value of a given initiative.

  • Design & build desired solutions as part of a cross functional team. 

  • Implement and follow up on added value in our operation. 

The position is based at headquarters in Copenhagen as close collaboration with the Product team on site is essential. Few travel days a year to other DFDS Logistics locations is to be expected. 

About you

It is a big advantage if you have experience within the logistics industry, planning, tracking and are familiar with working in an agile setup with SCRUM methodologies.

  • You can take ownership of both processes and initiatives. 

  • You can set up measurements to track the value of our work, defining the success of our deliveries. 

  • You have strong communication skills, as you translate business needs and user requests into digital solutions. 

  • You are a proactive team player, as DFDS creates innovative solutions based on strong internal collaboration. 

  • It will be an advantage if you have previous experience working with either Tableau or Power BI. 

Through your committed and process-oriented personality, you are able to navigate in complex discussions. This combined with your analytical approach and good communication skills, you ensure high quality digital solutions to our logistics operations.
