Sr. HVAC Technician

Seeking a candidate to join a customer-focused team as a Senior HVAC Service Technician! In this role, you'll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, including hot water systems, DX systems, chillers, and more, across a broad service area.
Our client is looking for a skilled professional with a strong technical background and hands-on expertise. Some of the position responsibilities include:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including hot water, DX, chillers, cooling towers, fan systems, VFDs, and low voltage controls
• Conduct equipment inspections, start-ups, commissioning, and preventative maintenance
• Provide technical training and support to clients and team members
• Identify opportunities for new services and solutions
• Travel within the assigned territory (Dubuque to Waterloo, Burlington, Grinnell, eastern Iowa, western Illinois, Missouri to Minnesota)
• Maintain accurate service records using company laptop and mobile systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in industrial or commercial settings
• Expertise in VRV/VRF systems, Daikin equipment, and refrigeration service
• HVAC license and EPA certification
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
• Physical capability to lift 75 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces
