What you'll do
- Set up and run CNC mills and lathes for low- to medium-volume, high-precision parts
- Perform first-article inspections and make on-the-fly adjustments to hit tight tolerances
- Operate manual mills and lathes as needed for prototyping, rework, and fixturing
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process plans
- Own part quality from setup through final inspection
Qualifications
- Proven experience setting up and running CNC mills and lathes
- Strong background operating manual mills and lathes
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of parts and schedules
Preferred
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
- Comfort working in a rapid-iteration, high-expectation environment
- Programming ability
