What you'll do

  • Set up and run CNC mills and lathes for low- to medium-volume, high-precision parts
  • Perform first-article inspections and make on-the-fly adjustments to hit tight tolerances
  • Operate manual mills and lathes as needed for prototyping, rework, and fixturing
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process plans
  • Own part quality from setup through final inspection

Qualifications

  • Proven experience setting up and running CNC mills and lathes
  • Strong background operating manual mills and lathes
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of parts and schedules

Preferred

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
  • Comfort working in a rapid-iteration, high-expectation environment
  • Programming ability
