What you'll do
You'll own the challenge of monitoring and evaluating lending companies for inclusion in the Mintos marketplace. Your focus will be credit risk assessment and due diligence, which means analysing loan book performance, driving credit committee decisions, and ensuring continued portfolio quality. You'll work with the Partnerships, Legal, and AML teams to protect investor interests and keep the Mintos marketplace trustworthy and transparent.
You will:
Perform due diligence on loan originators across the world, including loan book performance analysis and financial performance reviews
Work closely with Partnerships, Legal, and AML teams to drive alignment and ensure smooth execution across shared responsibilities
Prepare detailed credit risk opinions for the Credit Committee and present findings and recommendations directly to the Committee to support informed decisions
Track and assess the financial standing and portfolio quality of loan originators within the Mintos marketplace, identifying risks and ensuring continued performance standards
Oversee and mentor junior team members on designated cases, driving productivity and ensuring high-quality outputs
Perform ad-hoc analyses on diverse data sets to evaluate and minimise risks effectively
Explore business practices in regions like Asia and Central America, including onsite visits
Your professional skills and background
Must-haves
5+ years of experience in financial analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis
Full professional proficiency in English
Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Hands-on mentality, willingness to take an active role in the Credit Risk team and company
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Nice-to-haves
Previous experience in banking, financial audit, or a related field
