About the Team & Role

Our Test Development team is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer in Test that will help provide direction and leadership on the test automation strategy and processes at Abacus Insights. This person will be a critical member of our team to help design and implement our test automation frameworks and identify and define acceptance criteria for multiple test types (including performance testing and recommending best practice for testing tools). This technical leadership role will work across various applications and technologies in collaboration with others across the business.

Responsibilities:

 Define test strategies for the Abacus products covering design, implementation, and maintenance of test cases for functional, end to end and performance testing.

 Define test suites based on best practices and adherence to standards.

 Ensure software quality via continuous and iterative testing

 Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.

 Create and maintain automation test cases CI/CD pipelines with Python.

 Work with complex data applications developed on Azure and AWS platforms.

What we're looking for:

 5+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance of a software platform, preferably a cloud system

 2+ years’ experience software development

 2+ years’ experience with FHIR databases and standards. FHIR API testing

 Strong understanding of Software Lifecycle and Quality Assurance processes for manual and automated testing.

 Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS platforms

 Knowledge of healthcare standards

 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills.

 Experience with:

o Creating and maintaining frameworks using pytest, junit or similar.

o Azure and/or AWS platforms.

o Database Systems (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL) and Data Validation

o Micro services architecture, container management, API gateways, and tools like Kubernetes.
