Coordinate and manage the strategic planning process, provide resources to support the implementation and execution process, and drive financial processes across all brands placing the patient into the center of all efforts and operating within AbbVie business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations. This position will report into BUD of ECNS.
Major Responsibilities:
o Lead the integration and optimization of the EyeCare portfolio’s Integrated Brand Plan, financial forecast, Supply & Demand operations, and Long-Range Plan to fully capture and maximize market opportunities.
o Lead and orchestrate cross-functional collaboration to ensure strong strategic and tactical alignment with Brand Team initiatives. Facilitate timely and high-quality market intelligence flow across In-Field team and Brand team to enhance strategy refinement and execution excellence.
o Develop and lead commercial operations strategy and execution to consistently deliver or exceed performance targets while optimizing resources and budget allocation.
o Lead the consolidation and delivery of brand financial goals and P&L accountability. Rigorously review and challenge commercial model assumptions to embed realistic and “raise-the-bar” targets into the plan book.
o Drive optimal resource allocation by leading and developing the Sales Team, establishing effective sales targets and incentive programs, and leveraging Sales Force Excellence systems and KPIs to deliver sustained district sales growth.
o Build a high-performing organization by coaching and developing top talent, driving succession planning, and leading performance management initiatives to align talent strategy with business goals and unlock sustainable growth opportunities.
o Act as a strategic ambassador for AbbVie, positioning the company as a patient-centric leader and preferred healthcare partner to build a strong and sustainable brand reputation.
Basic Responsibilities:
o As (Sr.) Business Unit Manager, you will report to Business Unit Director and have overall responsibilities for ensuring the success of market development, as well as in managing the P&L performance of assigned brands. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
o Developing short-term and long-term marketing strategies and managing P&L
o Developing programs, materials and tactics to achieve marketing objectives
o Advocating the development of physicians, patients and nurses for the endorsement of products
o Developing clinical guidelines, a Market Access Plan and KPI tracking to ensure product performance
o Formulating execution plans for sales goals and leading the sales team in achieving targeted objectives
o Recruiting staff for Sales and Marketing functions and providing coaching to maximize sales force productivity and brand strategies development
Key Stakeholders:
o External: All stakeholders as defined in the affiliate NNLRP
o Internal: Senior leadership, Affiliate Management Team members, Brand Team Leaders, Sales Managers, Brand Managers, Area Commercial Directors, Cross functional members in brand team
