Job Overview

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician.
 
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures. Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities. Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary. Assists in emergencies as needed.

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.
 
Essential Function:
  • 3 – 5+ years of experience in commercial property, multi-unit residential and/or related facilities maintenance role.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing the following:
  • Plumbing
  • HVAC Systems
  • Refrigeration
  • Electric
  • LOTO/safety procedures, respectable replacements, ballast change-outs
  • Carpentry
  • Paint
  • Mechanical - pumps, equipment
  • Basic working knowledge of fire protection hydraulic system and fire protection alarm system.
  • Fire Alarm, Wet and Dry Suppression Systems 
  •  Ability to effectively present information to departmental management, employees, tenants, and outside contacts
 
Requirements:
  • Safety Certification/Training
  • OSHA Aerial & Scissor Lift Certification
