Position Overview:

We are seeking a commercially minded Business Development & Client Service Associate to join our Singapore-based Wealth team, supporting the continued growth of our Asia distribution business. As a Business Development and Client Service Associate, you will partner closely with senior sales professionals to drive the growth of Acadian’s wholesale and wealth business across Asia. This is a high-impact role with exposure to private banks, family offices, and digital wealth platforms. You will play a central role in originating sales leads, managing client relationships, supporting new business development, and ensuring seamless execution across the sales lifecycle. The role offers an exciting opportunity within one of the regional offices of a large and innovative investment management firm, with broad exposure to investment strategies, client engagement and regional distribution, and excellent potential career progression within sales and client service.

Acadian supports a hybrid work environment; employees are on-site in the Singapore office a minimum of 3 days a week.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with senior sales professionals to drive sales growth and deepen client relationships across wealth channel
  • Prepare presentations and materials for clients and prospects
  • Ensure all activities are undertaken within Acadian’s internal control and compliance framework
  • Work closely with global teams to complete RFPs and due diligence questionnaires
  • Prepare competitive analysis and monitor industry developments
  • Assist in the execution of sales events, conferences, training sessions etc.
  • Oversee and support new account onboarding and maintenance
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver top standard client reporting and servicing
  • Track and report on client flows, pipeline activity and business metrics
  • Working with internal groups to ensure day-to-day process, reporting and operational alignment

We’re Looking for Teammates With:

  • Bachelor’s degree and ambition to complete further studies, for e.g. CFA accreditation
  • 3-5 years of sales support or client service experience within asset management or private banking; Interest in investments and the financial markets and positive attitude to continuously learn
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency; Experience in Salesforce, Morningstar Direct, eVestment etc.
  • Highly motivated to succeed, with the ability to operate independently while under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Interpersonal skills that can demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues across the globe 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to persuade and influence
  • A service mentality to respond quickly and professionally to prospect and team needs
  • Mature character to exercise judgement and discretion working with confidential and sensitive client information
