The Project Manager is accountable for the overall success of assigned projects. This role oversees project planning, prioritization, and execution by defining and maintaining a clear project backlog, articulating requirements, and ensuring work is sequenced to achieve project goals and maximize value. The Project Manager leads cross‑functional collaboration, facilitates key project activities, and develops documentation that translates business needs into actionable requirements. They work closely with business stakeholders, leadership, and technical teams to understand, analyze, refine, and prioritize project needs, ensuring shared understanding of scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement team management strategies to assess, assign, and drive development team agility and quality.
- Monitor and facilitate scrum ceremonies as required.
- Create and manage integrated master schedules for development milestones.
- Support strategic communications for the project vision and strategy to stakeholders, including clients, team members, end-users and leadership.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, using data to drive decision-making and improvements.
- Assure customer satisfaction through continuous engagement and confidence building.
- Manage and curate training plans and team constructs.
- Estimate resource requirement, acquire it effectively and manage efficiently.
- Provide project updates to stakeholders as per demand and requirement
- Create and maintain detailed product documentation.
- Prepare ‘go-to market’ content and assist with the development of sales collateral for the solutions/products under your control.
- Undertake risk management to minimize potential risks.
- Ensure project delivery schedule is on time, on scope, and within the allocated budget.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working within Agile Software Development frameworks and teams to include Scrum
- Experience with project management to include financial and technical tasks
- BS in Engineering or equivalent education / experience
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Active DoD secret clearance or capability to achieve a clearance
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Software Projects within Dept of the Navy
- Experience leading Agile Scrum teams
- Experience Cloud computing infrastructure or development (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience using the Atlassian suite tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Hybrid work environment. In person collaboration is required to support engagement with the program/project team. In addition to in-office days, employees have the flexibility to telework (with supervisor approval) on designated days or as needed, provided that they adhere to established communication protocols and fulfill their work responsibilities effectively. Additionally, travel may be required to customer and Accelint partner company sites as well as other office locations.
Clearance Requirements
Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).
