Job Overview

The Product Support Specialist I organizes schedules and manages flow of work within or between organizational units or businesses. Reviews master schedule and work orders, establishes priorities, and adjusts schedule according to projects. This position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation and operation of enterprise PLM systems for U.S. Department of Defense customers. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience working in a similar capacity on any large enterprise system implementation/integration project specific to the 12 elements of Product Support.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and implementing program strategies that align with organizational goals and ensuring projects contribute to overall program objectives.
  • Assist with overseeing projects to ensure they are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Assist with tracking project progress and performance, identifying potential risks and issues, and reporting on project status to stakeholders.
  • Assist with data development in PLM and Reliability tool suites.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently hold an active U.S. security clearance (or able to obtain one).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Product Support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and documentation tools such as Confluence or SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Aerospace and Defense industries or other highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with Product Support elements.
  • Knowledge of DoD software development policies, requirements and artifacts like Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Software Design Description (SDD), Interface Design Description (IDD), Software Development Plan (SDP), Interface Control Document (ICD), etc.
  • Understanding of data migration and system integration concepts.
  • Familiarity with Configuration Status Accounting and/or Provisioning processes in the US DoD or equivalent military industrial supplier or platform owner.
  • Experience with at least one PLM application like Windchill, Teamcenter, Arena, Oracle PLM, Enovia, etc.

 

Work Environment

 

Remote / Hybrid work environment. In-person collaboration is required to support engagement with the team. In addition to in-office days, employees have the flexibility to telework (with supervisor approval) on designated days or as needed, provided they adhere to established communication protocols and fulfill their work responsibilities effectively. Additionally, travel may be required to customer and subcontractor sites as well as other office locations.


Clearance Requirements 

Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information.  Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).  In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.
