You are:
As a Data Scientist, you will be a hands-on-keyboard practitioner, turning complex data into actionable intelligence. You will perform in-depth analysis, develop and deploy predictive models, and build compelling visualizations to help our federal clients make better decisions. You will work closely with Data Engineers and Data Science Leads to structure data, experiment with new technologies, and deliver innovative solutions that move missions forward.
The work:
- Perform in-depth data analysis to derive actionable insights, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Develop, test, and maintain analytical models using machine learning, AI, and statistical techniques to support data-driven decision-making
- Utilize Python (e.g., pandas, PySpark) and SQL to perform data parsing, ETL, and complex analysis
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Databricks
- Create compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with Data Engineers to define data requirements and facilitate downstream development
- Continuously research and experiment with new tools and features to solve challenging problems
Here’s what you need:
- US Citizenship
- 2+ years of experience in data science and analytics
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, PySpark) and SQL
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Databricks
- Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to analyze and validate data
- Understanding of analytical model development and data-driven decision-making
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working with federal clients
- Experience in a specific domain like Cybersecurity or Fraud Detection.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
