You are:

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Migration Engineer specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service). The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing data migration strategies to ensure the accurate, secure, and efficient transfer of data between legacy systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform solutions. This role requires close collaboration with business analysts, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver high-quality migration solutions that meet business and compliance requirements.

The work:

  • Data Migration Planning: Analyze source and target systems (including Dynamics 365 and Power Platform) to develop comprehensive data migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments
  • Data Mapping & Transformation: Design and implement data mapping, cleansing, and transformation processes tailored to Microsoft Dynamics 365 entities and Power Platform data models
  • Migration Execution: Develop, test, and execute data migration scripts and workflows using tools such as KingswaySoft, Scribe, Azure Data Factory, or custom ETL solutions
  • Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure successful migration and resolve discrepancies specific to Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments
  • Requirements Analysis: Work with business analysts, solution architects and stakeholders to understand gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, data mappings, and issue logs. Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders
  • Post-Migration Support: Provide post-migration support, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
  • Best Practices & Compliance: Promote data migration best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies, data privacy, and security standards

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in - Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in in data migration projects involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
  • Proficiency with data migration tools such as KingswaySoft, Scribe, Azure Data Factory, or similar
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL processes
  • Experience with data mapping, cleansing, and validation for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 data models, Common Data Service (Dataverse), and Power Platform architecture
  • Experience with MS Dynamics products of client
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Experience migrating data for CRM or ERP modules within Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (C#, PowerShell, Python) for automation
  • Experience with data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements in Microsoft cloud environments
  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or relevant data management technologies
  • Prior experience collaborating with client stakeholders to optimize CRM workflows and enhance service delivery
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) within a federal agency environment
  • Proven knowledge of client operations, policies, and programs, with an emphasis on client-facing technology solutions

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits. You can find more information on benefits here. We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia is:
$93,400$176,200 USD
