You Are:
As a Senior Developer, you will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, refactoring and managing Java-based/Spring applications on a legacy application, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs. Additionally, the senior developer role may work on VistA MUMPS code in the legacy application to sustain the application and add enhancements to the system.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, refactor and deploy Java-based applications in a VistA environment
- Develop, refactor and deploy MUMPS code in a VistA environment
- Debug and troubleshoot code issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Align to best practices are followed in software development process
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Manage assigned tasks and timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders
Here’s What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field + 7 years’ experience (4 additional years of experience may be accepted in Lieu of a degree)
- Experience with Java
- Experience with Springboot Framework
- Experience designing and developing RestAPI’s
- Experience with JPA or Hybernate and SQL to communicate with the database
- Strong working knowledge of Agile development tools (e.g., Jira)
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Ability to work with federal government and familiarity with deploying MUMPS in a VistA environment
- Knowledge of Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Familiarity with supply chain, prosthetics, and/or system modernization
- Experience upgrading InterSystems Cache databases to InterSystems IRIS
- Familiarity with configuring/maintaining Linux operating systems on physical and/or virtual servers

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
