Application System Administrator
Job Overview
Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Application Systems Administrator 100% Remote. You will manage the administration, maintenance, and performance of enterprise software applications. You will play a key role in keeping essential systems—such as ERPs, CRMs, and SaaS platforms—secure, available, and optimized for end‑users.
The Work:
- Install, configure, and upgrade both server‑side and client‑side application software.
- Support and maintain applications including (but not limited to) Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, CloudBees Jenkins, Ansible, LoadRunner, FlexDeploy, and ConfigSnapshot.
- Proactively monitor system health, performance, uptime, and logs to ensure minimal customer impact.
- Provide Tier 2/3 troubleshooting for software bugs, system errors, and integration issues.
- Manage user access, permissions, and roles to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to streamline workflows and backups.
- Partner with external vendors to resolve technical issues and evaluate new capabilities.
- Create and maintain documentation including technical guides, SOPs, and configuration records.
- Coordinate maintenance windows, upgrades, and patching in accordance with organizational standards.
Here is what you'll need:
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience as a System Administrator or Application Administrator, including managing uptime, licensing, vulnerability remediation, and upgrade cycles.
- 2+ years of experience supporting applications such as HP ALM and LoadRunner in production environments.
- Experience administering and supporting enterprise applications such as Jenkins, Ansible, FlexDeploy, or similar DevOps/automation tools.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server and Windows client operating systems.
- Hands‑on experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and maintenance tasks.
- Experience supporting Tier 2/Tier 3 escalations, including troubleshooting logs, integrations, and system failures.
Security Clearance:
- Must hold a DOD Secret clearance or higher

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
