IT Infrastructure Analyst

The IT Infrastructure Analyst at Access Bank PLC is tasked with ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and security of the organization's IT infrastructure. This vital role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that support the bank’s mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and support the bank's server and network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
2. Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
3. Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues proactively.
5. Work collaboratively with other IT teams to develop and enhance IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
6. Maintain thorough documentation of the infrastructure environment, systems architecture, and incident reports.
7. Provide training and support to staff regarding IT infrastructure usage.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or systems administration.
3. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
4. Proficient in network management, including routers, firewalls, and switches.
5. Strong understanding of operating systems, primarily Windows and Linux.
6. Experience in cloud services (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
8. Certain knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks is preferred.
