IT & E-Business Compliance Officer

Job Overview

The IT & E-Business Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring that the bank's IT and electronic business operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This position involves conducting regular assessments of compliance risks, developing and implementing compliance programs, and providing training and support to staff regarding compliance matters in the digital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor compliance with IT and e-business regulations and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement compliance training programs for staff to enhance awareness and understanding of e-business compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to identify compliance risks associated with digital operations and recommend appropriate controls.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT systems and electronic business processes to ensure compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving laws and regulations impacting IT and e-business operations and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare compliance reports and documentation for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist in the investigation of compliance incidents and develop corrective action plans as necessary.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT compliance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements pertaining to IT and electronic business.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
