Your Day-to-Day as a Senior Consultant
We work in a practice-based organization that allows our consultants, starting at Senior Consultant level, to align with a clearly defined area of expertise. This enables you to develop as a subject matter expert, deepen your knowledge, and build strong specialization – while remaining part of our interdisciplinary project business. You will apply your expertise across diverse client contexts and continuously expand it. Our goal: for you to grow not only as a consultant but also as a thought leader in your practice area.
As a Senior Consultant – AI & Data, you will take on professional responsibility, lead teams, and strategically develop topics both for clients and internally. As part of the Technology Practice, you will help drive our internal transformation into an AI-powered consulting firm through Project aIQ. You will design new services and solutions in the field of AI to develop strategies for our clients, implement transformation projects, and deliver AI solutions together with our software development team.
You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the growth of our Technology Practice and advance both personally and professionally in the following areas:
Team Leadership: Lead teams in (sub-)projects and foster active knowledge sharing – by supporting colleagues with challenges and delegating work packages effectively.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional exchanges and client workshops or meetings.
Conceptual Work: Develop and implement solution approaches for top-tier clients, agile organizations, and emerging businesses.
Data Analytics: Conduct efficient data collection – from defining data structures to interpretation, visualization, communication, and deriving actionable recommendations.
Active Role in the Company: In addition to client projects, contribute to internal initiatives such as practice development or business development activities.
What You Should Bring
Education: A completed university degree – ideally with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Technology, or Digital Economy. We believe a degree sharpens critical thinking and enables you to tackle complex challenges in a structured way.
Growth Mindset: Curiosity, daily learning drive, and motivation to go the extra mile during intensive project phases.
Experience:
2–3 years of full-time experience in strategy or management consulting
or 3–4 years with a bachelor’s degree
Industry Interest: Strong interest in innovative technologies, Artificial Intelligence, and enthusiasm for guiding companies through digital transformation – particularly in areas such as data, automation, and scalable AI solutions.
Language Skills: Excellent German and English (at least C1 level).*
Willingness to Travel: 1–3 days per week within the DACH region.
Skills: Strong presentation and facilitation abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving expertise, and solid project management knowledge.
