Senior IT Specialist
Role Overview: Provide a high level of proactive technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Respond to and resolve user-reported technical issues via ticketing system, chat, and phone.
- Install and configure software, hardware, and peripheral devices.
- Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access control.
- Document solutions and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
- Conduct basic training sessions for users on IT tools and best practices.
- Assist others in the team to address issues.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- A team player with 5+ years of IT support experience
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and basic networking concepts.
- Ideally Google Workspace administration experience
- Experience with software deployment solutions such as JAMF and SCCM
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication.
- A strong “can do” attitude to complement problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Great troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Certificate) are a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
