AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team in Dublin. This is a senior leadership role delivering complex projects across the infrastructure and aviation sectors.

What you’ll do

You will provide leadership across the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery for our clients while supporting the growth and development of our teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and take full accountability for the successful delivery of Project Management commissions

• Drive business development and work winning, with a proven track record in the healthcare and education sectors

• Provide line management and mentoring, supporting, motivating and developing team members

• Manage the quality and timeliness of project management outputs in line with agreed programmes and standards

• Deliver projects across the entire lifecycle, from early inception and business case development through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and defects management

• Manage complex project environments, including those involving litigation, environmental constraints, due diligence and risk management

• Operate with a high degree of autonomy, receiving guidance only on complex or unusual challenges

• Manage projects involving Risk Triggering Factors (RTF) and other high-risk characteristics

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and provide technical input into project planning and delivery strategies
