Job Overview

AECOM is actively seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to oversee Federal environmental remediation projects.  The candidate may work from the Chelmsford, Massachusetts or Providence, Rhode Island AECOM office.  For the right candidate, this position can be remote.

Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management

  • Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects

  • Leads teams by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices

  • Utilizes existing technologies and past experience to develop technical solutions to complex problems

  • Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance

  • Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking

  • Performs work with minimal direction with periodic reporting to area manager

  • Oversees the preparation of work plans and organizes project studies

  • Performs complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project team

  • Supervises junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work

  • Conducts reviews and provides staff feedback for continued improvement
