Inspector - Structural

Reporting to the Discipline Engineers, the Inspector is responsible for conducting site inspections, surveillance, and testing of construction activities to ensure compliance with construction documents and relevant standards. Working closely with their assigned engineer (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural), the Inspector monitors and records all contractor activities on-site to support quality assurance and project compliance.
Job Duties:
- Oversee all engineering aspects of the project (by discipline) to ensure compliance with approved standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Coordinate with the Site/Senior Discipline Engineer and other project stakeholders to provide technical support and guidance as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during installation and construction activities.
- Prepare and submit technical progress reports that highlight key developments, challenges, and resolutions.
- Maintain comprehensive registers of all submittals, inspections, and testing activities conducted both on-site and off-site.
- Keep detailed site records, including daily site diaries in the approved format and formal monthly photographic progress documentation.
