Power System Studies Engineer

AECOM  is looking for a Senior Power System Studies Engineer to join our team in The Netherlands.

Here is what you will do:

· System Design and Engineering:

· Develop and implement designs for power system components, including substations, transformers or renewable projects.

· Perform power system studies and analyses, including load flow, short circuit, arc-flash, stability, and reliability assessments.

· Project Management:

· Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of power system projects.

· Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.

· Prepare cost estimates, project reports, and resource allocation plans.

· System Analysis and Optimization:

· Conduct power system modelling and simulations to identify and resolve potential issues.

· Optimize system performance through the implementation of advanced technologies and best practices.

· Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or modifications as needed.

· Compliance and Standards:

· Ensure all designs and projects comply with industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NERC), company policies, and regulatory requirements.

· Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices.

· Documentation and Reporting:

· Prepare technical documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and maintenance procedures.

· Generate reports on project progress, system performance, and inspection outcomes.
