AECOM has been appointed by the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA) as the Delivery Partner for the $7.1bn Games Venues Infrastructure Program.

This achievement is celebrated with our joint venture partner Laing O’Rourke, a strategic team formed to support the delivery of 17 new and upgrades sport, recreation, and entertainment venues across Queensland for 2032 and beyond.

• Surveillance Officer
  • Responsible for monitoring project activities and compliance with safety and security protocols to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
• Commissioning & Handover Manager
  • Overseeing the commissioning process and ensuring a smooth handover of projects to clients, while coordinating cross-functional teams and managing timelines.
• Quality & Verification Advisor
  • Providing expert guidance on quality assurance processes, ensuring all project deliverables meet established standards and conducting regular audits and reviews.
• Quality & Completions Admin
  • Managing documentation related to quality control and project completions, ensuring that all records are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• WHS Manager
  • Leading workplace health and safety initiatives, developing policies and programs to promote a safe working environment, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• WHS Advisor
  • Supporting the WHS Manager in implementing safety protocols and conducting training sessions to enhance safety awareness and compliance among staff.
