Candidate Engineer - Geotechnical

Job Description

• Builds analytic and design skills through mentored projects and professional development activities.
• Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Collects and analyzes geotechnical data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Uses computer software and CAD tools as a tool for solving basic to intermediate engineering problems.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
• Participates in site investigations, field work, and geotechnical testing activities to gain practical experience.
• Prepares technical reports, calculations, and documentation in accordance with company standards and industry guidelines.
• Collaborates with senior engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
• Assists with laboratory testing procedures and soil analysis under guidance.
• Communicates findings and recommendations to team members and contributes to project meetings.
• Maintains compliance with health, safety, and quality assurance standards on all assigned tasks.
