Substation Engineer (with Revit)

We are seeking a motivated Primary Electrical Engineer with 2 or more years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with an international team of senior engineers and project managers on a variety of projects for multiple assets, such as: High Voltage substations, Medium Voltage distribution systems, Power facilities and many more, gaining valuable hands-on experience and exposure to cutting-edge technologies and techniques. Job Profile Summary:

• Assist in the design and development of High Voltage Substations (up to 500kV) for a diverse stage of project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Civil, Structural engineers, designers, and project management ensuring project success.
• Perform modeling/CAD activities in Autocad, Revit and Microstation based on rules provided by a senior engineer.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports in accordance with project requirements and industry standards (IEC/IEEE/ANSI/AS).
• Good knowledge of MV and HV systems: Substation Equipment, Fittings and Assemblies for HV conductors (Compression join bolted assemblies & bolted Tee Clamps / Dropper supports / Conductor Spacers & Earth Stirrups / Adaptor Plates / Earthing Termination / Fittings for Tubular busbars).
• Producing drawings for each stage of the project: Single Line Diagrams, HV and MV Substations Equipment Layout & Sections, Cable sizing, Cable Routing and Sections, Earthing and Lightning Layouts
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and incorporate best practices into designs.
• Support senior engineers in project development.
