Senior QualDev Architect

Detailed Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Software QA Architect to define and drive quality strategy for complex enterprise SaaS platforms spanning APIs, Big Data, Analytics, and AI-driven systems. This role requires deep test automation expertise and proven technical leadership, with a strong preference for experience in the IOT/Security / telecom network domain. You will play a critical role in shaping quality architecture, influencing engineering practices, and leading teams to deliver highly reliable, scalable, and secure platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Architecture & Strategy

• Define and own the end-to-end QA architecture and quality roadmap.
• Establish automation-first, shift-left quality practices aligned with CI/CD pipelines.
• Design scalable testing strategies for distributed systems, microservices, and data platforms.

Test Automation

• Architect and implement robust test automation frameworks.
• API testing (REST, gRPC, event-driven systems)
• Data validation for Big Data and analytics pipelines
• AI/ML workflows (data quality, model validation, regression)
• Ensure high automation coverage across functional, integration, and regression testing
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality feedback
• Evaluate, standardize, and evolve testing tools, frameworks, and best practices
• Drive improvements in test reliability, execution speed, and maintainability

Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as a technical leader for QA engineers and SDETs.
• Mentor, coach, and grow teams on test automation, architecture, and quality mindset.
• Partner with engineering, product management, and platform teams to ensure quality by design.
• Influence cross-functional teams and leadership on quality risks, trade-offs, and decisions.
• Lead quality governance, reviews, and readiness for major releases.

Non-Functional Testing

• Define and oversee performance, scalability, resiliency, security, and reliability testing.
• Ensure production readiness through observability, monitoring, and post-release quality metrics.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in software quality engineering, with 3–5+ years in a senior/principal/architect role.
• Proven expertise in test automation architecture and implementation.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience testing APIs, Big Data platforms, analytics systems, and AI-based solutions.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience driving quality across enterprise-grade SaaS solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the IOT/cellular /telecom network domain (network analytics).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP is preferred).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes technologies.
• Experience defining quality KPIs.
