As an Electrical Design Engineer – Solar PV (PV Systems), you will be responsible for the design and optimization of photovoltaic power systems for utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) solar projects. Your focus will be on PV system design, including DC/AC configurations, inverter selection, energy yield analysis, and grid interconnection coordination.

You will work closely with HV, LV, civil, and project teams to deliver technically sound and constructible solar PV designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize solar PV systems, including module layout, string configuration, inverter sizing, and DC/AC ratio.

  • Perform PV system calculations such as energy yield, system losses, voltage drop, and performance analysis.

  • Prepare and review PV system design drawings, including:

    • PV layouts

    • Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)

    • Stringing diagrams

    • Cable schedules and equipment layouts
