Job Overview
- Environmental impact assessments for hydropower facilities and other renewable energy infrastructure projects as part of an interdisciplinary team in line with International Lenders' Standards
- Support aquatic biodiversity field surveys (fish, macroinvertebrates, water quality) in rivers and reservoirs
- Assist with species identification, taxonomic verification, and data/specimen management
- Contribute to literature reviews, habitat assessments, and species status evaluations
- Assist in drafting technical sections of ESIA reports and biodiversity management plans
- Support data entry, quality control, and analysis of ecological datasets
- Liaise professionally with local counterparts, authorities, and field teams
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental protocols during fieldwork
- Support in the design of fish migration facilities
- Preparation of technical reports and presentations
- Support in the preparation of proposals
