As a Revenue Management Specialist, you’ll join our Revenue Management team working at the intersection of customer demand and business performance. You’ll use advanced tools and rich data to optimise how we fill our aircraft, balancing revenue outcomes with great travel experiences. Your analysis and recommendations will directly influence market positioning and long-haul commercial performance.

This role reports to the Chapter Lead Revenue Management for Inventory and is well suited to someone who loves numbers, commercial problem solving, and turning insights into meaningful outcomes.
The role you will play:
- Responsibility for the end-to-end commercial performance for a portfolio of routes within the Long-Haul network.
- Analyse demand patterns, market conditions, and performance drivers to influence pricing and route level strategy.
- Implement, track, and evaluate revenue management strategies, adjusting based on performance and market signals.
- Provide clear, compelling insights and data storytelling to support commercial decisions and strategic projects.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business to turn ideas into action.
- Monitor competitor activity and develop timely responses to protect and strengthen Air New Zealand’s competitive position.
What we’re looking for:
- A tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, engineering, finance, economics, or operations research, or equivalent experience.
- A background where commercial analysis is a focus.
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to translate insights into clear recommendations.
- Confidence working with and advising senior stakeholders across the business.
- Big picture thinking, with a solid understanding of the economic drivers that influence performance.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong drive to learn, grow, and develop your career.
