Site Superintendent - Calgary

The Role 

We are seeking a Site Superintendent to join Akash Homes in Calgary, Alberta. 

This role oversees residential construction projects from excavation through possession while coordinating trades, suppliers and inspections to ensure homes are built safely, efficiently and to the quality standards Akash Homes is known for. 

The Opportunity 

As Akash Homes continues to expand in the Calgary market, the Site Superintendent plays a critical role in delivering homes that meet our schedule and quality commitments. 

You will manage multiple construction sites, coordinate trades and inspections, and ensure every home progresses efficiently from start to finish. 

This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the continued growth of Akash Homes while developing your own leadership and construction expertise. 

Top 3 Priorities for Your First 6 Months 

1. Successfully manage active builds across Calgary communities while maintaining schedule and quality standards. 

1. Establish strong relationships with Calgary trade partners and suppliers. 

1. Identify opportunities to improve site coordination and communication between field and office teams. 

What You’ll Own 

• Manage the full residential construction process from excavation through possession. 

• Coordinate trades, inspections and suppliers to maintain construction schedules. 

• Ensure worksites comply with Alberta Building Code and OH&S requirements. 

• Conduct site walkthroughs and address deficiencies proactively. 

• Complete homeowner walkthroughs and manage seasonal or post possession repairs. 

• Collaborate with Drafting, Estimating, Sales and Customer Experience teams to ensure smooth project delivery. 

• Maintain organized, safe and professional construction sites across all assigned builds. 

What You’ll Bring 

• Experience supervising residential construction sites. 

• Strong understanding of Alberta Building Code and homebuilding practices. 

• Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously. 

• Strong communication and relationship building skills with trades, inspectors and internal teams. 

• Problem solving mindset and ability to resolve issues quickly on site. 

• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for travel between Calgary construction sites. 

• The following would be considered an asset: 

• Construction Management or Building Science education. 

• Experience working with construction scheduling or project management software such as BuildPro.
