Job Overview

 

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead critical product development initiatives from our Taiwan office. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between product management, engineering teams, and our manufacturing partners in Asia. You will drive the execution of complex video camera programs in close collaboration with teams across multiple time zones. Your focus will be ensuring seamless coordination between hardware manufacturing partners and cross-regional product and engineering teams in Asia and North America — ultimately delivering innovative, high-quality IoT and video camera solutions to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program delivery from initial concept through design, development, manufacturing, and launch.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between product management, engineering teams, and manufacturing partners in Asia.
  • Own program planning and executionincluding defining scope, schedules, deliverables, dependencies, and success metrics.
  • Manage risks and resolve issues proactivelyensuring that programs remain on track for schedule, budget, and quality goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication across multiple time zones, ensuring clear, timely, and accurate information flow between regions.
  • Drive manufacturing readinesstracking engineering validation, pilot runs, and ramp to mass production with contract manufacturers.
  • Partner with supply chain and operations to align materials procurement, component availability, and vendor deliverables with project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with global certification and regulatory requirements (e.g., FCC, CE), coordinating with quality and compliance teams.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, component suppliers, and external engineering partners.
  • Track and report program status to leadership through clear dashboards and executive summaries to enable data-driven decisions.
  • Champion continuous improvement by refining processes, tools, and workflows for efficient, high-quality global product delivery.
  • Advocate for product quality by ensuring design requirements are met, testing protocols are executed, and feedback is incorporated into engineering cycles.
  • Collaborate with the team by fostering effective team work and positive relationships with multiple competing priorities.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of technical program management experience in hardware development
  • Strong background in camera systems or related IoT devices
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance for hardware products (FCC, CE, etc.)
  • Experience managing manufacturing partnerships and supply chain relationships
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience with video doorbells or video surveillance products
  • Experience with large manufacturers in Asia in bringing high volume products to market. 
  • Background working with US-based product teams in a global organization
  • Advanced technical degree
