JOB PURPOSE
The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions using React JS/Native and Microsoft Azure technologies. This role involves leading a team of architects, managing a large portfolio of web and mobile products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solution
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Solution Design and Architecture: Design and architect scalable and reliable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. Develop architecture blueprints, technical design documents, and implementation plans.Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
Node.js, React, Next.js, and Nest.js Development: Lead and participate in the development of applications and services using Node.js, React, Next.js, and Nest.js. Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability. Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
Cloud Integration and Deployment: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing. Utilize Azure DevOps for source control, build, release management, and monitoring. Implement and manage Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, and more.
Database Management: Design and manage PostgreSQL databases to ensure high availability and performance. Implement and manage data indexing and search capabilities using Elasticsearch. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Security and Compliance: Ensure solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements. Implement identity and access management solutions.
System Integrations: Design and implement integrations with third-party systems and services. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between different components. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance. Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance and health of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and other technical challenges.Continuously improve and optimize cloud solutions for better performance and cost-efficiency.
RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development, with at least 2-3 years in Node.js, React, Next.js, and Nest.js.

• Strong experience with cloud architecture, PaaS and DevOps practices

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
• Proficient in Node.js, React, Next.js, Nest.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services).
• Experienced with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD practices (especially Azure DevOps). Knowledgeable in Azure networking, security, and identity management, with Microsoft Azure/Cloud certifications.
• Ability to think and execute at both a strategic and operational level
• Proven results focusing on quality delivery and delighting customers; holds self to high standards of delivery
QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor degree in IT, Engineering or equivalent is required. Relevant industry certification preferred
