About the Position 

We are looking for a motivated, customer-oriented professional to join our IT Operations team as an IT Service Desk Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for providing first-level technical support. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting office staff, developers, and external partners with their operational IT requirements. The role covers a broad spectrum of technical tasks, including diagnosing hardware and software issues, configuring devices, and maintaining infrastructure systems. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver prompt and effective 1st line IT support, resolving incidents in accordance with established SLAs. 

  • Accurately log and manage all support requests through to resolution via the Ticketing System. 

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new colleagues in multiple countries. 

  • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, and associated peripherals. 

  • Set up and provide support for company mobile devices. 

  • Maintain workplaces and office infrastructure, including network and meeting room setups across various remote locations. 

  • Manage software installation and maintenance using MDM tools such as Microsoft Intune. 

  • Administer user accounts through Microsoft Entra-ID. 

  • Oversee permission and access management tasks. 

  • Coordinate the procurement of essential IT assets. 

  • Contribute to documentation efforts and ongoing process improvement within 1st line support. 

  • Assist in the implementation and execution of IT enhancement projects. 

  • Act proactively on information security matters in collaboration with the IT Security team. 

  • Implement changes in alignment with IT change management procedures. 

This position requires on-site presence at our headquarters in Arnhem, Netherlands, for a minimum of four days per week.
