We are seeking a talented Transportation Designer with a strong educational background in automotive or transportation design and a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional vehicle sketching and rendering skills. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, a strong design sensibility, and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling visual representations.

Key Responsibilities

Create high-quality vehicle sketches, renderings, and design concepts for internal reviews and development projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product development, and marketing—to develop innovative vehicle designs.

Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to explore new mobility solutions and aesthetic directions.

Refine design concepts based on feedback and evolving project requirements.

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Design, Automotive Design, or a related field.

A strong portfolio showcasing vehicle sketches, renderings, and conceptual design work.

Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, Alias, or other 2D/3D visualization software.

Strong sketching ability and an eye for proportion, form, and detail.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to present design concepts effectively.

Passion for automotive design, innovation, and future mobility concepts.

Preferred Attributes

Experience with digital sculpting or CAD surfacing tools.

Knowledge of vehicle architecture, ergonomics, and manufacturing considerations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Salary Range: $75,000-90,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
