Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Azure systems, ensuring stability and service continuity.
- Configure and review monitoring of systems to maintain supportability, stability, and performance.
- Provide high-level support, coordinate with internal and external partners, and resolve incidents and problems.
- Support may be provided in person or through coordination.
Tasks
After onboarding, you will be responsible for Windows systems, including:
- Installing and configuring Windows and Azure (Linux and OpenShift are assets)
- Supporting and maintaining server systems (Windows, Azure, Linux, ESX are assets)
- Monitoring systems
- Managing firewall, DNS, and DHCP requests
- Upgrading and patching systems (Windows and Linux)
- Following up on incidents and changes
- Assisting IT colleagues in meetings, especially regarding Windows systems
- Writing and following documentation and procedures
- Translating technical language for customer support
- Understanding system interfaces and flows
- Automating deployment of scripts and software
- Managing external and internal partners for incidents, changes, and escalations

You should master as many of the following technologies as possible, especially in the Linux and Windows scope:

- Monitoring (asset): Zabbix, Dynatrace

- Networking (asset): Firewall requests and diagnostics, troubleshooting network issues
