About the Role: This person will play a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, and preparing products for delivery while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys hands-on work in a fast-moving setting. You will work closely with warehouse and counter sales teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and stock daily product transfers into designated warehouse locations while ensuring accuracy and proper organization
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts (certification training provided) to safely move inventory throughout the warehouse
- Support the sales counter team by pulling, staging, and loading customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Prepare and package orders for shipment in accordance with company standards and delivery requirements
- Assist with inventory control processes, including cycle counts and maintaining accurate stock levels
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse environment in compliance with company and safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Understanding of technology and machinery used to transport and store materials
- Comfortable using computers and warehouse systems daily
- Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and customer service
- Prior experience with UPS and FedEx systems preferred
Skills:
- Can operate warehouse equipment safely
- Intermediate computer proficiency
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication
- Experience in HVAC fields preferred
- Forklift certified preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Regular lifting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, pulling, pushing, stooping, and carrying
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Safely operate forklift equipment
