Competitive Tumbling & Trampoline Head Coach

American Kids Sports Center, located in Bakersfield, California, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Competitive Team Coach to join our dynamic team. As a leading sports center in the region, we are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children to develop their skills, build confidence, and achieve their athletic goals.

What you'll do

• Conduct regular team practices, focusing on skill development, technique refinement, and routine preparation.
• Design and implement training programs that align with individual athlete needs and team objectives.
• Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about team activities, progress, and performance expectations.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, adhering to all relevant guidelines and protocols.

Coach Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years experience
• Strong knowledge of tumbling & trampoline techniques, skills, and routines across various levels.
• Proven track record of developing athletes and achieving competitive success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with athletes, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends. 
• Ability to spot beginning to intermediate level skills.  
• Up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in tumbling and trampoline coaching.
• USAG certification is required.
• Required to be 18+ years of age.
