Mission Support Manager

Job Overview

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE JOB

As the Mission Support Manager, you will lead EW’s Mission Support Team — a cross-functional group of technical operations specialists, software engineers, radio frequency (RF) integration engineers, and product technicians — responsible for the operational readiness and sustainment of Anduril's fielded Pulsar FoS. You will own end-to-end support lifecycle: from hardware deployment, to training, issue identification and triage of sensitive system incidents, through diagnosis and root cause analysis, to remedy and fleet-wide reliability improvement.

You will help build and manage the processes that keep EW systems operational across a wide range of customers and environments. This includes call support and hotline operations, overseeing ticketing workflows from intake through resolution, driving postmortem actions, and ensuring proactive communication with customers throughout the product lifecycle. You will be responsible for improving field failure discovery, mitigation, and resolution processes across the EW fleet, and for collecting and disseminating system failure data to identify trends and drive proactive sustainment.

This role requires close coordination among the Production, Operations, Engineering, and Leadership teams. You will serve as the bridge between end users and the collective Anduril Enterprise who builds and improves next-generation systems, translating operational feedback into actionable product improvements. You will also support hazard zone deployment operations and ensure your team is staffed, trained, and equipped to deliver world-class support to those serving in the most-demanding environments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the EW remote support team through prioritization, tasking, and process optimization
  • Support Anduril's global customers through proactive communications and detail-oriented execution; track and manage customer-facing incidents and ensure timely response
  • Manage hotline support operations, coordinating among cross-functional engineering teams to identify, address, and communicate the status and resolution path to customers
  • Own end-to-end issue management for fielded EW systems: Identification, triage, diagnosis, resolution/postmortem actions, and data abstraction to optimize product reliability
  • Collect, organize, and analyze system failure data to define trends, drive proactive sustainment processes, and support resource allocation decisions
  • Coordinate software sustainment and fielding activities among the engineering and testing teams, ensuring updates are deployed efficiently across the deployed EW fleet
  • Oversee deployed system observability and health monitoring to consistently assess and improve the quality of health telemetry
  • Design and implement user feedback loops to gather and prioritize requirements, issues, and challenges
  • Provide input to program and engineering teams to drive development of product features and configurations that enhance EW system performance and reliability
  • Support CONUS, OCONUS, and hazard zone operations, ensuring your team maintains readiness for forward-deployed support rotations
  • Maintain awareness of current EW FoS product specifications; bridge understanding between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Travel as required to support customer needs and operations, to include hazardous zones

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience in technical support, field service engineering, technical operations, or tech/software product sustainment, with a focus on final-tier customer support
  • 2+ years of experience managing or leading agile technical teams
  • 2+ years of experience supporting and/or performing incident-driven workflows requiring analysis, triage, and prioritization
  • Experience with on-call support operations and working in limited-risk-tolerance environments
  • Proficiency with ticketing systems and collaborative documentation platforms for tracking issues, assigning responsible parties, hosting shared files, and managing procedures
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience coordinating across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work non-standard hours and weekends to support operational requirements, as needed
  • Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance; TS/SCI eligibility strongly preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS degree from an accredited institution; STEM degree preferred (computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or similar)
  • Applicable industry certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Linux+, e.g.)
  • Experience in electronic warfare, RF systems, or compute-enabled communications systems — as a DoD employee, contractor, or end user
  • Prior military, government acquisition, or defense contracting experience
  • Hands-on experience working with classified network systems and environments
  • Experience with observability tooling such as DataDog, Grafana, or Victor Ops; familiarity with software development tooling such as Git and Jira
  • Experience with Linux system administration; familiarity with NixOS is a plus
  • Experience executing sustainment and reliability workflows for defense-focused products or services
  • Experience performing trend analysis on hardware, software, and/or systems data to inform operational and business decisions
