Inbound Sales Manager: The Engine Room 🚀
We aren't looking for a "manager" who sits in a glass office looking at dashboards. We’re looking for a Conversion Specialist, someone who lives for the rhythm of the sales floor, loves the art of the deal, and knows exactly how to turn a raw lead into high-quality revenue.
This is a hands-on, "sleeves rolled up" leadership position. You’ll be responsible for the pace, the standards, and the ultimate performance of a high-volume inbound team an own the conversion rates of quality warm leads.
If you’re the type of leader who jumps on a live call to show a struggling agent how it’s done, you’re in the right place. If you prefer weekly PowerPoint updates over daily floor coaching, this probably isn't for you.
What you'll be doing:
Owning the Outcome: You aren't just "managing" people, you’re hitting targets. You’ll drive conversion, revenue, and attach rates while making sure we don’t cut corners on quality.
The Daily Rhythm: You’ll run the huddles, set the daily plan, and manage the queue. You ensure "speed-to-lead" isn't just a buzzword, but a standard.
Coaching as a Religion: You’ll spend your time on the floor, live coaching, reviewing calls, and running "skills clinics." You’ll teach the team to sell value, not just a price tag.
Building Leaders: You aren’t just managing agents; you’re developing Team Leaders. You’ll sharpen their coaching edge so the whole machine runs smoother.
Protecting the Brand: You ensure we book the right jobs, not just any job. You’ll
This role is for you if:
You’re a "Player-Coach": You lead by example. You can close a lead better than anyone on the floor and you’re happy to prove it.
You Love the Data: You can spot a drop in "speed-to-answer" or a dip in "commitment language" before it hits the weekly report.
You Have "Warmth and Edge": You care about your team’s success deeply, but you have zero tolerance for low standards or excuses.
You Thrive in Chaos: We move fast. Priorities shift, campaigns launch, and targets move. You see ambiguity as an opportunity to build something better.
What This Role IS NOT
A Strategy-Only Seat: You’ll be in the weeds, in the CRM, and on the calls.
A "Maintenance" Job: We aren't looking for someone to keep the seat warm. We want someone to elevate the game.
A "Nice Manager" Role: If you avoid tough feedback or shrink away from hard targets, you’ll hate it here. We value candor and accountability.
What you’ll bring:
A solid proven track record of leading high performing b2c phone based sales teams.
A "Floor-First" Mentality: You believe management happens on the floor, not in a meeting room. You have a proven track record of leading high-volume B2C teams where you’ve personally moved the needle on conversion through live intervention.
The "Player-Coach" Edge: You can still outsell your best agent. You aren’t afraid to pick up a headset or jump into a chat to show the team how to turn a "just browsing" into a "where do I sign?"
A Coaching Obsession: You don’t just "give feedback" you build capability. You have a repeatable system for call reviews, roleplays, and "skills clinics" that actually sticks. If an agent is struggling with objection handling, you know exactly how to fix it by the end of the shift.
Data as a Second Language: You don't need a data analyst to tell you when a shift is going sideways. You can look at a live dashboard, spot the bottleneck (speed-to-lead, talk time, or drop-off points), and pivot the team’s focus in real-time.
Experience Leading Leaders: You’ve successfully managed a multi-layered team (Agents + Team Leaders). You know how to coach your TLs to be better coaches, ensuring your standards are felt even when you aren't in the room.
A "High Care / High Challenge" Style: You build deep trust with your team, but you don't tolerate "coasting." You are comfortable having the "not good enough" conversation early and often, paired with the support to help them get better.
Pace & Ownership: You don’t wait for permission or a "strategy deck." You see a problem in the queue or a dip in the revenue, and you fix it. You bring the energy that sets the tempo for the entire room.
B2C Battle Scars: You understand the psychology of a B2C inbound lead, the urgency, the emotional triggers, and the "now or never" window. You know how to stop agents from becoming "order takers" and turn them into "value builders."
Bonus Points:
You’ve led a sales turnaround or scaled a team through hyper-growth.
You have experience selling to the UK market.
You’re a pro at value-based selling (SPIN, etc.).
How we’ll know you’re the one:
You can talk us through a time you took a low-performing team and doubled their conversion.
You can demonstrate a "before and after" of an agent you personally coached from the bottom of the stack to the top.
You can explain your daily "operating rhythm" without checking your notes.
