Job Overview

We’re looking for a Trade Counter Supervisor to lead our front-of-house trade counter operations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll supervise the trade counter team, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Albany branch.

You’ll be the go-to person for our trade customers, supporting the team, solving problems on the spot, and keeping everything running efficiently.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supervising and supporting the trade counter team
  • Welcoming customers to the trade counter with a friendly smile and building great relationships with them
  • Manage daily trade counter operations, including workflow and staffing
  • Picking, processing orders and ensuring customers leave with what they need
  • Growing sales through upselling products, sharing promotions and encouraging repeat business
  • Ensuring the trade counter and showroom are presented professionally
  • Working closely with the Internal Sales Team Leader to meet sales and service targets

  • Previous experience in a trade counter, customer service, or similar supervisory role
  • Leadership & people skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Trade or retail sales experience is a bonus, but we’re happy to train the right person
  • A friendly, can-do attitude – You love helping people
  • An eye for detail, who likes to get the job done
  • Reliable and hardworking – You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves
