Junior IT Engineers (2)

On behalf of our client, major in the Oil & Gas industry, we are looking for two young graduates from an Engineering School in Computer Science , for Junior IT Engineer positions.

No significant professional experience is required (internships and projects are valued) .

🛠️ Your Main (Evolving) Responsibilities

As a Generalist Engineer , you will be involved in a broad spectrum of IT , depending on the needs and your increasing competence:

• Participation in Development Projects: Assistance with the design, coding, testing, and documentation of internal or external applications (according to the languages used by the company).
• Support and Maintenance: Contribution to diagnosing and resolving incidents (software, networks, systems).
• Infrastructure and Systems: Assistance with the administration of servers, networks, or databases.
• Technology Watch: Active participation in the exploration of new technologies, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Cloud, Cybersecurity, DevOps).

Requirements

The selection will be based on the combination of your technical achievements and your soft-skills , which are key indicators of your potential:

1. Know-How (Fundamental Technical Bases)

• Solid Education: Bac+5 degree (Master's level from an Engineering School) in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Networks & Telecommunications / Cybersecurity.
• Software Development: Understanding of fundamental principles and proficiency in at least one or two major languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript) and good coding practices.
• Databases: Knowledge of relational database concepts (SQL) and non-relational concepts.
• Web & Mobile: Notions.
• Networks & Systems: Good understanding of network architecture (TCP/IP) and operating systems (Linux/Windows Server) , virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V).
• Technical English: Ability to read, write, and understand technical documentation in English.
