About You

You are a senior full stack engineer who enjoy owning features end-to-end, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and shaping delivery processes rather than simply executing tasks. You are comfortable working with legacy systems while helping modernize platforms that support high-visibility sports and real-time event management applications.

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core and C# for building web applications and data APIs.
  • Proven experience using Entity Framework Core and LINQ for data access and business logic.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including writing complex queries and working with relational data models.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and frontend development using MVC / Razor views.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Exposure to real-time or event-driven features (e.g., SignalR or similar patterns).
  • General cloud literacy with exposure to Azure services such as Blob Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault, or Azure AD.
  • Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows.
  • Foundational understanding of Web Components (e.g., Shadow DOM / Light DOM).
  • Excellent communication skills, able to participate in weekly client-facing meetings with US-based teams.
  • English proficiency is required, as you will be working directly with US clients in the sports industry.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining ASP.NET Core web applications and data APIs that support real-time sports and event management platforms.
  • Implementing backend logic using C#, Entity Framework Core, and LINQ, ensuring clean, maintainable code.
  • Developing frontend functionality using JavaScript, jQuery, Web Components, and Razor / MVC.
  • Writing and maintaining SQL Server queries to support application features.
  • Integrating with Azure services such as Blob Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Azure AD as part of the platform ecosystem.
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices.
  • Owning the quality of your deliverables by writing unit and end-to-end tests for critical business logic.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues in both development and production environments.
  • Acting as a trusted senior contributor, helping to scale processes, shape workflows, and ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across projects.
