Senior PeopleSoft HCM Consultant

About You

You are a senior-level PeopleSoft HCM consultant with strong hands-on delivery experience, capable of operating independently in complex enterprise environments.

You bring a consultative mindset, combining technical expertise with the ability to assess processes, identify automation opportunities, and deliver scalable solutions. You communicate effectively with stakeholders and are comfortable working across multiple teams in high-expectation environments.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Senior-level experience as a PeopleSoft HCM consultant with strong hands-on delivery.
• Proven experience designing and implementing automation within PeopleSoft environments.
• Strong expertise in PeopleSoft HCM modules, including Payroll, Health & Welfare, and Benefits.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools, including Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, PeopleCode, PS Query, Approval Framework, Process Scheduler, and SQR.
• Ability to identify and recommend automation opportunities using native PeopleSoft capabilities.
• Experience working independently in complex, enterprise environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage directly with stakeholders and clients.
• Experience working in consulting or multi-stakeholder delivery models.
• Prior experience supporting large enterprise or regulated environments.
• PeopleSoft HCM and/or PeopleTools certifications (nice to have).
• Fluent English required due to collaboration and potential client interaction.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze existing PeopleSoft HCM business processes.
• Identify and recommend automation strategies using native PeopleSoft functionality.
• Define automation requirements and support effort estimation and complexity sizing.
• Design and implement PeopleSoft configurations and custom development.
• Deliver automation solutions across multiple HCM process areas.
• Support testing activities, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with client stakeholders.
