ESTIMATED PAY RANGE

$78,000 - $90,000, DOE

JOB SUMMARY

As a Manufacturing Engineer in Faribault, MN, you will:

• Lead floor‑level engineering projects, including equipment guarding, workstation changes, BOM updates, and drawing/model revisions
• Drive cross‑functional initiatives, mentoring junior engineers and partnering with production supervisors to align safety, quality, and efficiency goals
• Work hands‑on in the manufacturing environment, actively engaging with production teams to solve real‑time challenges
• Implement practical engineering solutions that improve safety, workflow, and overall operational performance
• Lead continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to deliver measurable productivity and cost‑reduction gains
• Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners across southern Minnesota
• Contribute to projects that impact communities in Faribault, Northfield, Owatonna, Waseca, and the greater Twin Cities
• Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• 2-3 years of previous manufacturing engineering experience required
• Proficiency in Solidworks for updating models and drawings
• BOM creation and maintenance
• Ability to manage and implement floor-level projects, such as equipment guarding and workstation repositioning
• Familiarity with safety standards and ergonomic principles in manufacturing settings
