Job Overview
- Install and verify equipment as required for vehicle and component tests including; high speed cameras, equipment racks, camera stands and other test equipment.
- Operate still cameras, high speed video cameras, diagnostic equipment, hand tools and power tools.
- Support the test teams in the set up and execution of tests.
- Maintain safe working practices and environment considering the safety of yourself and other employees at all times.
- Capture high quality video/photos of each full vehicle automotive crash test.
- Conduct tests in accordance with customer requirements, standard test procedures and work instructions.
- Accurately prepare and install high speed camera/video equipment for each test. Verify the proper working order of all equipment.
- Maintain and operate a clean and organized working environment.
- High speed video and still photo processing for client distribution.
- Maintain photo equipment in clean and working conditions.
- Help to identify and implement new tools, methods or processes to improve quality, efficiency and timing.
- Maintain all work area documentation including note logs, check sheets and part inventory.
