Automotive Mechanic (Testing) - Zaventem, Belgium

You will be dedicated to emission and energy efficiency test cell work as described:

Start-up and shutdown of facilities:

• Chassis Dyno control systems (warm-up and preparation)
• Engine ECU data acquisition equipment
• Exhaust gas analysis and acquisition equipment
• Perform "safety check" before testing (follow check sheets)
• Install/exchange gas bottles for analyzers
• Support consumption follow-up and daily/weekly clean-up

Vehicle preparation:

• Install acquisition equipment to full operational state
• Drain and refill fuel tank with correct test fuel
• Connect devices and power sources to guarantee no data loss

Emission tests:

• Install car on dyno with additional measuring equipment (smoke, opacity, SOx analyser, data acquisition, etc.)
• Prepare emission test analyser, chassis dyno and test cell temperature
• Perform emission tests on different driving cycles and Coast down
• Ensure data availability on ECU and chassis dyno systems
• Complete daily chassis dyno occupation documents
• Conduct performance tests in Climatic Chamber (various temperatures)
