On behalf of our client, one of the leading companies in the FMCG industry with more than 100 years of presence in Greece, we are looking for a Wholesale Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the existing wholesale client portfolio, achieving sales and collection targets, and driving the development of new products and promotional initiatives. The role requires strategic thinking, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage and grow relationships within the wholesale channel.
Responsibilities
- Manage and further develop the existing wholesale client portfolio, aiming to achieve both quantitative and qualitative sales and collection targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer needs, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop the product assortment, propose new SKUs, and manage existing ones to maximize sales.
- Design and implement promotional plans to enhance product visibility and increase wholesale sales.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Sales and Marketing departments to optimize strategies and growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in FMCG sales or wholesale/traditional trade; knowledge of the beverages/soft drinks market will be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and design development plans.
- Strong organizational skills, responsibility, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Valid driving license and confidence in driving.
