Job Overview

Research & Insights (50-60%)

  • Lead qualitative research to improve activation and conversion across the trial-to-paid journey
  • Conduct customer interviews using JTBD methodology to understand motivations and adoption patterns
  • Develop actionable behavioral segments based on customer journeys and desired outcomes
  • Analyze conversion funnels and user cohorts in Amplitude to identify opportunities and friction points
  • Present insights to Product, Marketing, and leadership in decision-ready formats

PLG Campaign Execution (30-40%)

  • Execute and manage in-app campaigns for product communications (feature announcements, onboarding flows, beta invitations, surveys, etc.)
  • Handle campaign setup, segmentation, deployment, and performance tracking
  • Write customer-facing copy that drives engagement and activation
  • Collaborate with PLG Manager and Product Marketing on messaging strategy and targeting
  • Monitor campaign performance and iterate based on data

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Marketing to validate messaging and positioning
  • Build continuous feedback loops that translate insights into prioritized opportunities
  • Support the wider Product team with messaging capacity as needed
